I was able to trace my father’s path back to June 30th, 1896 when he was born in the little town of Bouin, France. Then forward to 1912, when he and his family boarded the passenger ship La Touraine to come to America, and then on to his later years in his life. Dad was the head of his family at the young age of sixteen in 1912.
